This course explores theory and practice of pedagogy and leadership used in providing travel and recreation experiences in outdoor settings. It bridges theory and practice in safe field-based learning environments. The physical setting as well as the semester in which the course is offered may alter course content from year to year. The course may be repeated when a substantial difference in curriculum exists.
