NURS 452 - Chronic Disease Management, Palliative Care and Wound Care
This course has three components. The Chronic Disease Management component utilizes current, evidence-based knowledge, skills and management tools to provide effective client-centred care for those with chronic health challenges in rural practice. The Palliative Care component enables learners to extend their knowledge surrounding palliative care guidelines and discusses grief and bereavement issues. The Wound Care component examines evidence-based and cost-effective wound care for people residing in rural settings.
