HIST 493 - Topics in Social History
This course examines various themes in social history. Topics might include major social changes such as the industrial revolution or Canadian urbanization. The social origins of major historical events such as the Reformation or the Russian Revolution might be examined; or particular social movements (such as socialism or utopianism) may be the focus of the course. With permission of the Chair, this course may be repeated to a maximum of 6 credit hours if the material is substantially different.
