This course addresses the fundamentals in building envelopes of building physics, thermal performance including thermal bridges, and hydrodynamic processes. Students examine airtightness and convection-based influences along with durability of building envelopes. The principles and details of energy-efficient design, specifically on wood buildings, are applied.
