The development of speaking and understanding of the Nisga'a language, and reading and writing skills at level 4 (advanced intermediate). Materials studied include modern texts as well as tapes of elders.
This course originates on WWNI campus and will be delivered via ZOOM. Wilp Wilxo'oskwhl Nisga'a Institute (WWNI) is a Federation school of UNBC-Nisga'a University since 1994. Course credit is awarded by UNBC. All non-WWNI students must contact Lori Nyce at lnyce@wwni.bc.ca to receive registration approval and course information PRIOR to registering. Tuition for this course is billed directly to students by WWNI by the add/drop deadline (January 19, 2021) and is to be paid directly to WWNI.
