The MSc Thesis requires that a student undertake original research involving a literature review and the development of a research design and methodology appropriate to the research problem. The implementation of the research methodology normally includes original investigation and data collection, the analyses and discussion of which constitute the major part of the completed research thesis. The thesis may involve, but is not confined to, the testing of a specific hypothesis or hypotheses.
