ENSC 454 - Snow and Ice |
This course focuses on the physical processes involving snow and ice that influence the hydrometerology of Northern British Columbia and the rest of Canada including snowpack, permafrost, lake, river and sea ice, and glacier formation and ablation processes; the characteristics of snow and ice and how they evolve with climate change. Students conduct an extensive snow survey in the field.
