ORTM 401 - The Culture of Adventure
This course explores how social, cultural, political, and economic dimensions affect our travel and sporting opportunities, but also how adventurous activities influence our understandings of the environment and society. The focus of the course is on adventure sport and tourism, which include a variety of activities from rock climbing to mountain biking to BASE jumping.
