| PHYS 110 - Introductory Physics I: Mechanics |

This course is the first part of the calculus-based physics sequence for majors in physical and mathematical sciences. Topics include vectors, measurement, motion in one and two dimensions, the laws of motion, application of Newton's laws, work and energy, potential energy, conservation of energy, linear momentum and collisions, rotation of rigid bodies, rolling motion, angular momentum, static equilibrium, and elasticity. Please note: You must register separately in lecture and lab components.
